OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on natural therapy that views the individual as a whole unit. It relies on palpation to determine the needs of the body and treats movement restrictions in your body tissues that prevent you from feeling healthy and fit. Osteopathy is unique because it focuses on the cause of pain and dysfunction rather than concentrating only on symptoms.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
We focus on health to remove obstructions that impede the circulation within the body's arterial, venous, lymph and nervous system vessels. These obstructions can be found in bone, organ, tissue misalignments as well as other anatomical structures responsible for the defence of the body and its immune system. Through techniques that involve the various body systems the individual is treated from the trauma to the imprint it leaves in the body.
MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage therapy is a form of manual manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. Specifically, massage therapy acts on the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints of the body for the purpose of freeing restrictions and optimizing health. It can be done with oil or without.

Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction, pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.

Modern massage techniques can be traced back to the 1700's and the development of Swedish massage, the first systematic method of therapeutic massage based on physiology. Today’s Massage Therapists use their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to combine traditional Swedish and modern Massage Therapy techniques with exercise and other therapies to treat their clients.
ELDOA METHOD
Eldoa (French for Etirements Longitudinaux Decoaptation Osteo-Articulaire) is a method of exercise that is osteopathically based. It helps to align joints through self adjustments. Joints are given room for movement through fascial stretching. It helps to correct posture by bringing awareness to the body and enhancing the sense of where our bodies are in space. It also helps to lubricate joints that may be stiff and restricted.

Eldoa is a great way to keep the gains you’ve received after an osteopathic treatment or after massage therapy, helping you take greater control of your well-being. Through postural holds, your muscles get a workout and through postural stretching your muscles are lengthened. As your spine and extremities are put back into place, it allows for better neuro-vascular flow and a greater sense of well-being.
INFANT CARE
The assessment and osteopathic treatment of young babies is important for reaching developmental milestones. Developmental milestones are stages in development that are building blocks for a baby’s optimal growth. Sometimes birthing issues such as c-section, forceps delivery or breach position can cause trauma to the baby, affecting the head shape, neck, shoulders, and pelvic girdle. Osteopathy is a gentle way to treat the effects of these traumas on the body.

Common infant issues that osteopathy can help with are inconsolable crying (for hours at a time), poor sleep patterns, latching or feeding difficulties and discomfort with tummy-time. Osteopathy can be a non-invasive solution to empower and relieve newborns and their mothers.
